Valheim Community Game Server

You can bring in your main character or make a new. We want everyone to farm the this server, but since we can't stop people bringing in items, we just ask you don't go crazy and take the fun away from anyone else.

The following is NOT allowed: griefing, cheating, stealing items, raiding/destroying bases, harassing players. 

This is a ‘friendly’ server for people to work together, however you can decide to live in/near the community or out in the wild away from everyone. Please note, living in the community causes a lot of lag, so it's suggested to build away a bit. 

What happens if I break the rules?
In many instances, we will first give a warning, for more serious offences we may opt to instantly kick you from the server and group.

UPDATE: It is much easier to just use Vortex Mod Manager on NexusMods.com and let this software manage all your ValheimPlus and other Valheim Mods. If you are using or going to use Vortex Mod Manager or another mod manager, after you install Valheim Plus then just skip down to #2! 

Continuing.. 

To join our Valheim Community server, you have to install ValheimPlus client in your Valheim Steam Game Directory. This is required to protect player made buildings on our servers. 

1. Download the latest package called WindowsClient.zip over on Github: https://github.com/valheimPlus/ValheimPlus/releases 
   (Scroll down until you see "assets")
    
2. Unzip/Open the file WindowsClient.zip with a program like Winzip, WinRAR or similar.
    
3. Open your STEAM-Folder on your computer 
   (Normally located here: C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim\
    
4. Once your WindowsClient.zip folder is open you will see a list of files and folders inside, You want to grab those files and folders and move them to your Valheim steam directory above. (if this is the first time, nothing should overwrite)

Important: After every update, the client-version has to be updated manually. (this means you download the windowsclient.zip and do the same 4 steps above.) 

Now ValheimPlus Client is installed and you can join one of our modded server. Our server will handle the configuration when you join. When you are done, your directory should look like this below.
